Once, flipping channels, I saw a segment on "Entertainment Tonight" on a voiceover artist. The man spends his days being driven around Los Angeles by limousine recording commercials, and most notably, movie trailers. I knew that voice. Everybody does. But I couldn't remember his name. Finally googling around, I found a reference that identifies him as Don LaFontaine.

This is just another bit of idle trivia, so you can say things like, "That trailer sounded kinda weak. It would've been more {exciting|eerie|impressive} if they got Don LaFontaine to do the voice work instead."
