Most of us, as Americans, probably take for granted the presumption that the police are competant and trustworthy. We don't think twice about calling 911 in an emergency, reporting possessions or cars stolen, or if we're stopped for a traffic offense, whatever happens, we'll likely be able to sort it out in court if we're unhappy. That just doesn't apply in a lot of the world. So it's nice to see exchange programs like this.
