[Edit 10:30am] Senate Majority Leader Harry Read indicates the Senate won't seat a Blagojevich nominee. (The Constitution establishes each house of Congress as the final arbiter of its own membership. And yes, it has happened that a house refused to seat someone.)
Also, Patti Blagojevich has not been charged, though she clearly knows what her husband was up to, and stood to benefit from his schemes, as he demanded seats on corporate boards of directors for her. I don't have a problem with that. She'll lose enough when her husband goes to jail.
