Quickie Con note

I'm at Comic Con again. I'm still debating whether this is the last year for it, but I'll go into that and details later. For the time being, I'm taking pictures of whatever catches my eye. There was a pair of guys dressed as Jay and Silent Bob. The "Bob" has Kevin's mannerisms down fucking cold.

Some choice quotes:

Diesel Sweeties' Richard Stevens III (rstevens): "A job is the worst thing you can do for your career."

Goats' Jon Rosenberg (diablochicken): "Regular comics are more a threat to themselves" (as opposed to web comics are a threat to regular comics.)

Teenage boy asking Kevin Smith a question during his Zach and Miri Make A Porno panel: "My mom's here, so I'll pretend I don't know who Katie Morgan is."

Kevin: "You're like the Miley Cyrus of porn!" (On Traci Lords' revelation that she started porn at 15.)

Elizabeth Banks: "Playing Laura Bush is just like playing a porn star, the hair is just different."
Seth Rogen: "You wouldn't even have to change your name!"

Traci Lords, by the way, comes across as very cool, very classy, and very, very together. katie Morgan? Not so much. But that could be a combination of youth and the "oh DAMN that's a lot of people!" of Hall H.
