More theaters

The top five photos in this gallery are the Will Rogers, on Belmont and Parkside, just west of Central. This was about half a mile from my grandmother's house (5400 block of W. Warwick,) where she took us kids to see movies. I saw most everything Disney released in the late 70s and early to mid 80s there. That theater had a balcony, which was perpetually closed, and it's my firm belief that this was the balcony pictured in the opening credits of WTTW-TV's Sneak Previews, the original Siskel and Ebert movie review show.

Page 3 ends with the first shot of the old Old Orchard theater on Skokie Boulevard in Skokie. Page 4 has a color exterior shot of the Edens I, and the lobby of the Edens II, and the lobby and interior of the Golf Mill in Niles.
