Okay, somebody gets it...

Apparently there were walkouts in Colorado yesterday. One of the kids organizing it actually understands the issue:
"We want to show that we're not just here to be out of school, but to support all immigrants, of every race," said Jacobo Gonzales, a 17-year- old senior who helped plan the walkout. "We realize our country was founded on immigration. And if we don't allow it, we're denying our past."
And even better:
Louise West, an English teacher at North, took a personal day off so she could march with her students - in particular, some ninth-grade girls who'd never participated in a protest.
