In the Oct. 17 of The Daily Illini, the headline on page A-7 reading "White Sox blow really hard" was incorrect and left as placeholder text while waiting for a finalized headline. The headline should have read "Southsiders head to Series."
I'm happy to see the Sox win the pennant. I hope they win the whole damned thing.
A Chicago team is a Chicago team, and that's always preferable to anyone else. To oppose them is to be a lousy neighbor.
