Stay on target...

JetBlue flight 292 departed Burbank (KBUR) for JFK (KJFK) about 3:17pm PDT. They got a bad landing gear indication after takeoff, and it turns out their front gear locks down, but it's turned 80 degrees away from straight-ahead. They're currently circling off Long Beach to dump fuel, before they attempt a landing at LAX or Long Beach in about 75 minutes from now.

Live video courtesy of MSNBC (requires IE6 and Flash(!) and MS Media Player (go figure.))

[Update 6:23pm] The plane landed magnificently. Not only did the gear hold, not only did the plane stay on the runway, it came to a stop with the tire-less nose gear dead on the centerline.
