Early morning quake

Well, not as early as the one before last. USGS says preliminarily it's a 5.6, centered out in the desert 20 miles south of Palm Springs. It lasted about 15-20 seconds here, started with a slow rumble, then a couple of sharper jolts, then faded away. The windows didn't rattle very much, a couple of things on the shelf rattled, but nothing fell over.

It might be the longest quake I've ever felt, though. Long enough I started to wonder, "Okay, so how bad is this going to get?"
