Enterprise Bridge

Someone crashed a Cessna jet at Palomar Airport early this morning. My office is just northwest of there. The news said it crashed trying to land, so I assumed it was at the east end of the runway (24), near El Camino Real and Palomar Airport Rd. In fact, it landed but ran off the west end of the runway, rolling down a hill and into a storage complex, straight south (though over a hill) from work. By the time I got here, it was all over.

Buy me a Beck's beer of pass me a bong...

So now that my dedicated-loop DSL line is installed and running, I called Speakeasy to check on the status of my VoIP transition. They tell me it's 30 days from the time the new DSL line is complete, so that clock just started on the 20th. But hey, nobody cleared my old shared-line DSL out of the system, so he'll do that now. Great.

Huh. My ssh session back to my home server died just then.
