Enterprise Bridge

Who had Friday?

Whoever's running the pool on when the psychochristians would start handing out divine blame for Katrina, here's the result. I couldn't help but respond:

You quote Reverend Bill Shanks:

"New Orleans now is abortion free. New Orleans now is Mardi Gras
free. New Orleans now is free of Southern Decadence and the sodomites,
the witchcraft workers, false religion -- it's free of all of those
things now," Shanks says. "God simply, I believe, in His mercy purged
all of that stuff out of there -- and now we're going to start over
  again."

It's nice to know exactly where God stands, now, because he left the
thieves, rapists, and murderers to run rampant. Pass my thanks on to
Rev. Shanks for enlightening all of us!

Weeds

Look.

Check this shit out.

It's funny, and Mary Louise Parker stars in it, and Allison Janney is guest-starring next week (actually, starting tomorrow.)

It's on Showtime, so this does you no good if you're not a subscriber. Unless you want to find a torrent, or someone to borrow from.

I read about Weeds in the paper. It looked promising, but the MythTV drive was full, with the Little League World Series coming up, so I wasn't in a position to add any new series. But my mom turned it on tonight, and the drive is now less full, so here we go...
