As I do periodically, I checked up on a few of the newspaper archive sites about school shootings. There was one in the U-T about the second anniversary of the Santana shooting:
Forgiving the perpetrator is a different story. [history teacher Doug] Coffin rejects the notion that [Andy] Williams was pressured into lashing out by bullying and harassment.

"Bringing a gun to school and shooting people, isn't that the ultimate form of bullying?" he asked.

Ummm... yeeeeah. That was the point. Giving back what he felt he had been given?

I see the Showtime telefilm adaptation of Bang Bang, You're Dead won two Emmy awards...
