|The cover caught my eye yesterday. Christ on the cross wearing the well-known 80's fad T-shirt. The premise is the Second Coming happens at the end of the 20th Century. Jesus doesn't simply return, he goes through the whole born-to-a-virgin-and-grow-up routine, and this book picks him up as a 12-year old in the mid to late 80's, as the otherwise ordinary boy begins to discover who and what he is. It's a three-part miniseries. It looks good so far, and it doesn't look like it's going to be preachy.|
